Eight high schools gathered at Buffaloe Lanes in Raleigh on Friday, Feb. 12 to compete in the Wake County High School Bowling Championships. Since bowling is recognized by the school system as a club and not yet a sport, the league is supported totally by the donations of local bowling centers and parents. The Wakefield Boys Team and the Millbrook Girls team won the season championships.
